IP values
IP (International Protection) is a value that indicates the degree of protection class against water and dust. The IP value consists of two digits. The first digit describes the protection against objects and contact. The second digit describes the tightness against water and moisture, as shown below.

IP values for zones in the bathroom
A bathroom can be divided into different zones. These zones indicate the requirements that electrical equipment must meet as a minimum. If you want to install electricity in the bathroom yourself, there are a number of rules that you must take into account.
